AYUMI SUZUKI
1990-

Contemporary painting artist in Tokyo.

Ayumi Suzuki is a contemporary painter and writer based in Japan. After graduating from high school, she studied ceramics at a craft school in Akita Prefecture. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, she moved to Tokyo, where she continues to create analog paintings using acrylics.

With a background in oil painting and ceramics, Suzuki employs mixed-media techniques to craft textured and expressive works. In addition to her artistic practice, she works as a writer, exploring themes that often intersect with her visual art.
